From a young age I began a career training and showing horses in the Western Discipline. Living and working a ranch life and training three working Australian Kelpies, I soon realized my passion was for training dogs!

Thus began a lifetime of owning and training my own dogs to compete in various dog sports for over 25 years. I have become an accomplished dog trainer and competitor, winning many prestigious awards and titles that number into the hundreds from High In Class to High in Trial awards.

My latest accomplishmentshas been with my Australian Kelpie Tula. Tula became the first Australian Kelpie in Canada to receive a Grand Championship in the Conformation ring. We also competed in the Obedience ring, from Novice to Utility scoring all High In Class awards, one High Aggregate and one High in Trial award.  

 

I have been teaching others for over ten years and pride myself on my ability to create great working relationships between owners and handlers, whether in the ring or just pet dogs. I have taken many courses and seminars and have put together a vast array of knowledge that has helped to create winning teams. I provide my students with methods that inspire fun and positive bonding for all stages of life.
